Once they have been assigned to a User account any IP Phone should be able to connect to ClusterPBX and their provisioning script is selected for that user.
- Configure a User account with the phone’s information – the account can either exist or be new
- MAC Address
- Phone Model
- Provisioning Template
- Apply the change
- Plug the phone on the network and wait for the phone to download and apply the provisioning template
WARNING: If the router – or DHCP server – is not configured with the proper URL for DHCP Option-66 each phone will have to be configured manually with the provisioning template’s URL, username and password through their web interface in order to download their provisioning template.
- Test the configuration
