How to configure the SMS to Email feature.

Limitations & Requirements

  • Only text will go through on email responses – the respond to email address is: @sms.modulis.ca
  • The phone number must be bought via the DID → Buy tab
  • The DID has to be SMS Ready
  1. Login into ClusterPBX under your Client account
  2. Go to DID in the navigation menu
  3. Select the DID that needs SMS messages sent to it routed to email and click Edit to bring up the Edit DID window

    Note

    Only the DIDs with the SMS ready flag can receive SMS messages – you will not be able to configure the SMS to email option on other numbers – neither can they be converted later – as they would lack the ability to receive the messages in the first place. However any user can use the ClusterPBX web interface to send out SMS messages from their computer.

  4. Enter the destination email address in the SMS to email field

  5. Click the Apply button to complete the operation
