Problem

A user wants to receive email notification when they, or a watched extension, receive a voicemail message – the message can be attached to the email.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Login to ClusterPBX under a Client account

  2. Click on Users in the navigation area
  3. Select the user from the list
  4. Click Edit User on the toolbar
  5. Click the Voicemail tab

  6. Add the check beside Enable notification option

    You can change which email address(es) will receive the messages, as well as delete the messages from the server when they are sent with the other options on this dialog.

    • Optionally you can add other extensions to watch via email notification, this feature is practical if someone wants to delegate their voicemail box to their assistant or a colleague
  7. Click Apply
